What that means in practice
Felix is the closest thing Canada has to a full-stack version of the American telehealth model: the same company runs the intake, the prescriber network and the pharmacy that ships the pen. That is why its medication prices are printed on the website at all — most Canadian clinics send a prescription to whatever pharmacy you name and never quote a drug price.
The practical consequence is that the price you see is the price for that pen through Felix's own pharmacy. If your workplace plan has a preferred pharmacy or a dispensing-fee cap, running the same prescription through that pharmacy can be cheaper or more cheaply reimbursed. Nothing stops you from asking for the prescription to go elsewhere.
Felix does not serve Quebec, New Brunswick or any of the territories. Its two pharmacy entities split the country: the western one ships to BC, Alberta and Manitoba, the eastern one to Ontario, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and PEI.
A licensed practitioner visit is required before any treatment is issued. Bloodwork, when the clinician asks for it, is done at a local lab on a requisition — the same way it works with an in-person clinic.
